T memory stem cell characteristics in autoimmune diseases and their promising therapeutic values

چکیده

Memory T cells are conventionally subdivided into central memory (T CM ) and effector EM cells. However, a new subset of named stem cell SCM has been recognized that possesses capabilities both including lymphoid homing performing roles through secretion cytokines such as interleukin-2 (IL-2) interferon-gamma (IFN-γ). The some biological properties stemness, antigen independency, high proliferative potential, signaling pathway lipid metabolism. On the other hand, considered one principal culprits in pathogenesis autoimmune diseases. responsible for developing long-term defensive immunity against different foreign antigens, alongside tumor-associated which mainly derive from self-antigens. Hence, antigen-specific can produce antitumor responses potentially able to trigger activities. Therefore, we reviewed recent evidence on functions disorders type 1 diabetes, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, acquired aplastic anemia, immune thrombocytopenia, uveitis. We also introduced lineage an innovative prognostic biomarker promising therapeutic target settings.

P 86: CD166 as a Therapeutic Target in Autoimmune Diseases

About 3 decades ago CD6 identified as one of the first antigens expresses on the majority of T cells and a subset of B cells. CD6 regulates cellular adhesion migration across the endothelial and epithelial cells. In recent years researches indicate its role in pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. Many researches have been done in recent years to block CD6 by CD6 mono clonal antibodies, IOR-T1 a...

T Cell Metabolism in Autoimmune Diseases

Metabolism generates energy for organisms to sustain all kinds of biological functions, such as cell growth and cell apoptosis. The immune system requires an adequate energy supply for its optimal function [1]. During the activation and differentiation of T cells, the balance between glycolysis and lipid oxidation shifts in order to cater for the cell’s energy requirements [2]. There is increas...

P 53: Stem Cell Therapy for Treatment of Autoimmune Diseases (with Emphasis on Multiple Sclerosis)

Autoimmune diseases have been described as an interesting and poorly understood group of disorders. There are many challenges in the respective scientific societies concerning the nature, causes and the therapeutic approaches of these diseases. In accordance with the evidences the nature and etiology of these disorders is multifactorial and complex but the clearest definition could be expressed...

Stem cell therapy for severe autoimmune diseases

The interest in autoimmune diseases (ADs) is increasing exponentially (1, 2). Their estimated prevalence in Western countries ranges from 3% to 70% of the general population (3). Autoimmunity coincides with the loss of tolerance to the self (4); it is thought of as a persistent failure of an integrated fabric of components rather than the adverse consequence of a specific “forbidden clone” (5)....

Stem cell transplantation for rheumatic autoimmune diseases

Immunoablative therapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is an intensive treatment modality aimed at 'resetting' the dysregulated immune system of a patient with immunoablative therapy and allow outgrowth of a nonautogressive immune system from reinfused hematopoietic stem cells, either from the patient (autologous HSCT) or a healthy donor (allogeneic HSCT). HSCT has been shown...
